This course provides dental hygiene educators with a review of CDC and OSHA guidelines, including Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazard Communication, and Ionizing Radiation standards. It uniquely translates these guidelines into a clinical environment, using hands-on activities as teaching aids for effective student instruction.
The goal is not only to meet OSHA and CDC guidelines but also to satisfy associated CODA standards, thereby ensuring the development and upkeep of a safe, compliant dental hygiene program clinic.
