WEBINAR REPLAY: Upscale assessment - The Future of Dental Hygiene Assessment

This course will introduce a web-based CODA complaint grading software for dental hygiene programs. Upscale Assessment was developed by Sara Taft, a dental hygiene educator who facilitated second-year clinical for almost 10 years. She partnered with Jeff Nelson, a software architect who worked in higher ed as the Assistant Director of Enterprise Systems and understands assessment and the importance of education requirement tracking. The software is HIPAA and FERPA-compliant. Attendees are eligible for a 30-day free trial of the software.

Participants will learn how the software can:

1. Be customized for their program needs.

2. Use real-time, individualized grading for student performance.

3. Track CODA requirements such as patient experiences, periodontal disease, and radiographic experiences.

4. Prove self-assessment to CODA.

5. Track and notify remediation needs for care assessment and process evaluations.

6. Track and notify health requirements for students and faculty.

7. Calculate assessment and removal of calculus deposits.

8. Add rubrics for radiograph and process evaluation grading.
