Dr. Joy Void-Holmes, DHSc, BSDH, RDH, AADH
Dr. Joy D. Void-Holmes is a registered dental hygienist with over 25 years of clinical experience. She holds a Master of Health Science with a concentration in Forensic Investigative Science and Doctor of Health Science degree from Nova Southeastern University. She is founder of Dr. Joy, RDH™ and co-founder of JELL-ED. Dr. Joy has presented continuing education courses nationally and internationally. She serves as a Consultant Examiner for the CDCA-WREB examining board, board member for the Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners and is on the editorial advisory board for Inside Dental Hygiene and clinical advisory board for vTail. Dr. Joy is an active member of the American Academy of Dental Hygiene, American Dental Hygienists’ Association, and the Maryland Dental Action Coalition.
Dr. Emily Boge EdD, RDH, CDA
Wife, mother, farmer, college administrator, educator, inventor, public health advocate, businesswoman, researcher, writer, editor, speaker–yet always a dental hygienist— Dr. Emily Boge has worn many hats over 20+ years in the dental industry. She takes pride in utilizing her inquisitive mind and honest attitude to lead faculty at her college, influence manufacturers to listen to dental professionals in product innovation, and transform students into entry-level professionals, promoting the use of inner accountability, tenacity, and empowerment. Dr. Emily currently serves as Dental Administrative Chair at Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo, Iowa and owns a farm and the speaking, consulting, and writing firm Think Big Dental.
Lisa Bahr, MEd., RDH
Lisa Bahr, RDH, BS, MEd. has been a member of the dental community for over 20 years. She began her dental hygiene career at Waukesha County Technical College, and received her advanced degrees in Science and Education from Carroll University. Lisa has served as the Program Director of Waukesha County Technical College Dental Hygiene Program since 2014. Lisa is a professional speaker presenting courses on feedback, flipped learning environments, educational methodologies, lasers, CODA, and student learning. She currently serves on the Wisconsin Dental Examining Board. Lisa is an examiner for CRDTS, an active member of The American Dental Hygienists’ Association, and serves as a SADHA advisor.
Lory Laughter, MS, RDH
Lory earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Idaho State University and her MS degree in Dental Hygiene from UCSF. She practiced clinically for 24 years and is currently an Assistant Professor and Dental Hygiene Program Director at University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Lory was a columnist for RDH Magazine from 2005 -2017 and authored articles published in the California Dental Hygienists’ Association Journal, Journal of Dental Hygiene, Journal of Dental Education and the American Journal of Infection Control. She is a national and international speaker and dental continuing education provider on topics of instrumentation, inflammatory diseases, insulin resistance, abuse and PTSD . Lory received the 2011 Idaho State University Alumni Outstanding Achievement Award and the 2015 Sunstar America Award of Distinction. She is a co-author of Newman and Carranza’s Clinical Periodontology for the Dental Hygienist, published by Elsevier, Inc. Lory is a member and past president of the California Dental Hygienists’ Association and an active member of the American Dental Educators Association.

Payment plans are not available for this event.
What is your refund policy?
Cancellations must be sent in writing to [email protected]. For all cancellations received 31-60 days prior to the conference, all but 50% of the course fee will be refunded to the attendee by Jell-Ed. For all cancellations received 11-30 days prior to the course, are not eligible for a refund. Tickets are non-transferable.
Cancellation of Conference by the Organizers
- Should the Organizers completely cancel the conference, with no content or sessions being available on-line, registrations will be refunded in full, less a $50 processing fee.
- Under these circumstances the Organizers are not liable for any other expenses incurred, this includes travel and accommodation costs – Attendees are encouraged to have sufficient travel insurance in place to cover other costs.
Postponement of Conference
- Should the Organizers need to reschedule the conference, all registration fees will be transferred to cover attendance on the new conference dates – no processing fees will apply in this case.
- Should the Attendees not wish to accept attendance on the new date they may cancel their registration, in such cases cancellations will be governed by the cancellation terms as outlined above.
- Under these circumstances the Organizers are not liable for any other expenses incurred, this includes travel and accommodation costs – Attendees are encouraged to have sufficient travel insurance in place to cover such other costs.

- Should the Organizers need to reschedule the conference, all registration fees will be transferred to cover attendance on the new conference dates – no processing fees will apply in this case.
- Should the Attendees not wish to accept attendance on the new date they may cancel their registration, in such cases cancellations will be governed by the cancellation terms as outlined above.
- Under these circumstances the Organizers are not liable for any other expenses incurred, this includes travel and accommodation costs – Attendees are encouraged to have sufficient travel insurance in place to cover such other costs.
